- to south-east of North Stone
Farmhouse
GV II
Shippon. C18, altered and enlarged in the mid - to late C18. Cob over stone rubble,
enlarged in rubble with brick dressings. Corrugated-iron roof, gable-ended to left
and half-hipped to right.
Plan: Long range, facing west. C19 additions to left. Ground falls to right. One-
storey and loft, higher to left.
Exterior: Asymmetrical front. C18 range with C20 casement to right (formerly door,
see brickwork below) and C19 wooden opening to left; and 3 two-leaf boarded doors to
centre with rectangular overlights and wooden lintels. C19 two-leaf boarded door
with segmental brick head in addition to left, approached by external steps.
Interior: Not inspected.
The farmbuildings form a group with North Stone Farmhouse (q.v.).
