House. c.1730. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; end stacks
of stone finished in brick. L-plan with rear left wing. 2 storeys; 4-window
range. Timber lintel over central blocked through-entry: C20 door with overlight
set in mid C19 moulded wood architrave with bracketed flat hood. Timber lintels
over 6-pane sashes: 4 early C18 sashes to left have thick glazing bars.
Two-storey rear left wing of similar materials. Interior: early Cl9 stairs.
Chamfered beams in rear wing. Room to left has c.1730 panelling and fluted
pilasters flanking panelled cupboard doors. Butt-purl in roof. Subsidiary
features: outbuilding to rear left of similar materials with plank door to loft
opening. Early C18 one-storey outbuilding to rear has wide blacked entry and
wood-mulloned and transomed cross window.
