Four pairs of houses, 1815-20 by Jesse Gibson, architect to the Drapers' Company. Stock brick,
with some patching, rendered to sides. Slate roofs with central stacks. Principal composition is that
the pairs are joined as a terrace by projecting porches and garden doors to either side, except that
those to no. 209 have been demolished to make a driveway to the rear. Each house a symmetrical
two-bay composition with rendered sill band to first floor. All houses with glazing bar sashes, those
to no. 201 and the ground-floor of no. 213 of modified later Victorian design with plate glass.
Original fanlights to nos. 199, 205, 211 and 213, and panelled doors to nos. 199, 203, 205, 211 and
213, the last modified with inserted glazing.
