TL 1364 GREAT STAUGHTON THE HIGHWAY

Probably C18 cottage with outshut at rear and late C19 single storey shop wing
projecting to north. Timber-framed with C19 gault brick west gable end. Plain
tiled. Two storeys. Open boxing to 2 horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars.
Two similar windows at ground floor on either side of doorway. Doorcase of plain
pilasters and entablature with flat doorhood. Panelled door. Late C19 shop wing
of brick. Slate roof, hipped to north. Cast iron columns flanking double fronted
shop with central doorway.
