Late C16 L-plan farmhouse with main range rebuilt in C19. C16 cross-wing of red brick,
English bond. Limestone dressings to windows. Plain tiled with C19 red brick stack
of grouped shafts on square base. Gable end parapet on kneelers with moulded stone
coping and ball finial. Two storeys and attic. Gable end has one lancet, sealed, to
attic and one original 3-light casement to each floor. Square head and moulded label
with return stops to hollow moulded jambs and mullions. Rear of cross-wing is C19 and
of brick. C19 main range. Red brick with gault brick quoins, and stone window
surrounds, some incorporating C16 stone. Plain tiled with ridge stack. Two storeys.
One 2-light and one 3-light casement at first floor, both with moulded labels and
return stops. One similar 3-light casement at ground floor. Entry in angle. Brick
porch with hipped, tiled roof. Interior. Cross'wing has chamfered main beam and
C18 door of 6 raised and fielded panels. Main range with chamfered main beam.
