ST 66 NE KELSTON BATH ROAD, KELSTON (west side)

3/82 Kelston Forge

G.V. II

Village and estate forge. Circa 1860's for Inigo-Jones estate. Coursed
rubble and pantile roof with coped gable end on to the road; rock-faced quoins.
2-light segmental headed casement windows in gable end. Side elevation has a
2-light round-headed casement window with a stable door to its right and a wide
cart entry to the left, under a segmental head. Part of an intact and
unaltered mid-Victorian estate village.
