SK 80 SW BELTON IN RUTLAND CHAPEL STREET (north side)

House, late C17 or early C18. Well coursed rubble and stone tiled roof.
2 storeys with attic, and a 2 unit plan. To the left, a 3-light stone
mullioned window to each floor, then doorway with chamfered timber lintel
opening onto heck wall of inglenook within. To the right, a 4-light stone
mullioned window, and 3-light above. Beyond, a blocked doorway with massive
stone lintel, now a window. All stonework to windows is delicately cut and
moulded. Single axial stack. 2 dormers in the roof. Inglenook and
chamfered spine beams within.
