Farmhouse at NGR 704793. C17 with C19 alterations and additions. linestone rubble
with stone dressings, brick gable and ridge stacks to left, stone stack to right.
2 blocks with straight joint between, to left 2½ storeys and 2 windows, to right
2 storeys and one window, to right more squared rubble. To left, ground floor
has 6-pane fixed light with hood mould, 2-light stone casement with wave-moulded
mullion and hood mould, central C20 stone gabled porch, panelled and glazed door
with timber lintel; first floor has 2 similar 2-light casements, large gable
rising to ridge height with similar window and oval bull's eye, ball finial. To
right, ground and first floor C20 window with timber lintel, door to right, later
single storey addition attached to right with door and C20 window under eaves.
Right return has C20 window at ground, first and attic level, buttress to right.
Rear has wing to left with 2 windows at ground floor and one at first floor, all
C20; to right, small low blocked window, possible former ingle light, stack above,
three 2-light casements as on front C20 door and green house; first floor has
2 similar 2-light casements and gable as on front with 2-light casement.
