SOUTH SIDE

8/40 War Memorial

G.V. II

First World War Memorial, c 1920. Stone. Octagonal plinth with moulded base
and names of Dead inscribed on 3 brass plates. Second World War brass plate,
a later-addition. Cross-shaft, octagonal and tapering with moulded base and
foliage capital with moulded abacus. Latin cross with octagonal sections and
terminal stops.
