SK 17 NW PARISH OF TIDESWELL

3/10 Barn to the north east of
Bushyheath Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Late C18. Roughcast rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. Flush
quoins, plain gables, and a stone slated roof. Two storeys, five bays with
segmental arched cart opening to central bay with quoined surround, the archway
now blocked and with an inserted C20 door and window. First floor taking-in doors
to end bays, that to the east end enlarged. Three other doorways with quoined
surrounds and massive lintels, and an inserted opening to the west of the cart arch.
Interior: double purlin roof supported by king post trusses.
