Farmhouse. Early C18, refronted early C19. Rendered brick, slate roof,
gable end stacks. Three storeys, dentilled brick cornice; three windows:
recessed framed glazing bar sashes under bracketed cornices with paterae
and friezes; 6-pane to second floor (central window blocked); 16-pane to
ground floor flanking central entrance with 6-panelled door, 3-pane over-
light and cornice. This should not be confused with Torton House (previously
listed as Torton Farmhouse) now demolished.
