SP 03 NE BROADWAY CP WEST END LANE
4/149 Manor Farmhouse

House. Circa 1800 with C17 remains. Squared limestone with tile roof.
Two storeys, three bays. Windows have plain reveals and are sashed with
glazing bars except for the ground floor one of the second bay which is
of three tall lights and has casements with glazing bars and flat-faced
mullions. The windows of the right-hand bay have had similar mullions
removed and have tripartite sashes. Doorway between second and third
bays, has glazed elliptical head and a door of six flush panels. At the
left is a single-storey lean-to which has an early C20 rebated and chamfered
mullioned window of two lights. The rear wall of the house has rebated and
chamfered mullioned windows, probably late C17, and a carved stone with
initials "MR". Interior: stair has turned newels, stick balusters and
ramped handrail.
