House. Datestone W/F/M 1685. Ironstone ashlar. Renewed C20-tile roof. Stone and
brick end stack. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range. Central entrance has
moulded square head, plank and rail door and hood mould with diamond shaped
label stop. Small oval window in stone frame above with datestone. Entrance is
flanked by 4-light stone mullioned windows with hood moulds and label stops. 3
similar 3-light windows to first floor. Interior noted as having an interesting
oak post and panel partition at the top of the stairs and a fine large stone
fireplace in the bedroom over the hall. Initials and datestone possibly refer to
William and Martha Plant. Interior not inspected.
