Large detached villa circa 1850/60 in Osborne style. Two storeys and
attics faced in coursed cement with flanking vermiculated coursed
pilasters with bands between storeys though they are at different
levels due to sloping site. Superimposed flat fronted bow windows
either side of tower porch, three lights each, sash, later glazing
bars, pilasters carried down into panelled aprons, frieze and cornice
breaking forward to centre, fretted blind cases. Semi attic window
breaking through eaves with ornamented bargeboard gable and finial.
The tower porch is in three stages the upper one rising clear of the
roof. Flanked on the ground floor by vermiculated pilaster strips and
on the first and second floor by Doric pilasters doubled at corners,
frieze and cornice to each floor. The entrance consists of recessed
double doors, panelled below with two round headed lights above and
a semi circular fanlight, flanking pilasters with moulded arch and
keystone over. The first floor has two narrow round headed windows
separated and flanked by Doric pilasters. The third floor is four

by a balustrade with urns to the corner piers. Set back behind the main
hipped slate roof with wide eaves, is an extra storey with one sash recessed
window with later glazing bars.
