Milland House to the north
(Formerly listed as Gate
18.6.59 piers on road circa 220

House, Milland)

These gate-piers flank the public road but presumably once flanked a private drive
to Milland House. The house itself dates largely from 1900 circa and is a
rebuilding of an older house. The gate-piers are C18. Square rusticated stone
piers surmounted by ball caps enclosed in a rectangle.
