Early C19. No 23, red brick with yellow brick dressings, cornice and parapet.
Outer yellow brick pilasters. 3 storeys, 2 windows, french casements at 1st floor
with glazing bars, sashes above with vertical glazing barsvnly. Heavy cornices
above. Advanced altered Cl9 shop front with 3 arches over shop windows, centre
doors and end shops. Dentil cornice above, frieze and architrave on side brackets
above windows. No 24. Stucco. 3 storeys, 2 windows sashes with glazing bars,
those of 1st floor probably replacements. Shop front has dentil cornice on brackets
and side pilasters.
Nos 22 to 24 (consec) form a group.
