Dovecote used as hearse house in C19. Probably C16 with C19 alterations. Large blocks of dressed red and St Bees sandstone, under hipped graduated greenslate roof. Partly-blocked narrow south doorway. North wall has large C19 double plank doors, altered to take hearse. Interior has remains of original stone boulins.
