GV II

House, now club. Early C19. Flemish bond brickwork, roof not
visible. Late Georgian style. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 2
window range. Former left-hand doorway now replaced by a
narrow sash; parapet. Rubbed brick flat arches to 3/3-pane
ground-floor, 6/6-pane first-floor and 3/3-pane second-floor
sashes.
INTERIOR extensively altered but retains substantial axial
beams, possibly former ships' timbers. Connected internally
with Nos 9 & 11 (qv).
Formerly had a left-hand round-arched doorway with a re-set
small pediment and egg and dart moulding and a radial fanlight
with 6-panel door. Part of a single club with Nos 5, 7, 9 & 11
(qv).
