the description shall be amended to read:- - -

House, formerly farmhouse. C16 or earlier former open hall - house probably
with smoke bay at one period with early Cl7 inserted stack, refronted in
C18 and refenestrated in C20'. Exterior of coursed sand stone with plinth to
front with red brick dressings and quoins. Steeply pitched. tiled roof with
gablets. 2 storeys 5 windows C20 wooden casements. Doorcase with flat hood on
brackets. C19 outshut to rear. Interior has, to ground floor, a large axial
beam chamfered with lambs tongue stops and similar floor joists and an ingle nook fireplace with 2 beehive - shaped bread ovens. Winder staircase with turned balusters. 1st floor has some late C16 or early Cl? plank and muntin panelling, some C18 panelling and a 4 panelled door. Roof is C18 of through purlin type with tie beams and collar beams.
