Detached villa. c1830-40 Portland Estate St John's Wood villa development.
Stucco; slate roof. Set back behind forecourt. Grecian. 3 storeys and basement.
3 windows wide, with slighly recessed entrance bay to left and later wing on
right. Pilastered porch. Recessed sashes, some with glazing bars, in
architraves with consoled cornices on ground floor where the windows are
separated by pilasters. Front of main block framed by panelled quoin pilasters
up to cornice over 1st floor and plain pilasters to attic storey. Crowning
moulded cornice and blocking course. Cast iron area railings of geometric
pattern. Similar villa type to the adjoining Eyre Estate.
