Lane Head Farm
GV II
House, formerly house, cottage and barn. Early C18. Roughly
coursed and squared rubble with Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys,
the original house a 3-unit plan, with end stacks and doorway
to right of centre. New gabled porch to entrance, with re-cut
stone mullioned windows of 2 and 3 lights each side. Upper
windows also recut 2-light mullions. 2-window range to left
formerly in separate occupation as a cottage, the present
openings renewed. Beyond this, the former barn projects, its
roof dipping down over possible former aisle. Stone mullioned
windows inserted, and added gabled porch to left.
