GV II

House. C18. Flemish bond brickwork in red brick with grey
headers. Tiled roof with brick chimneystack. 2 storeys and
attic 3 windows. Moulded wooden eaves cornice and band between
floors. Attic has 2 gabled dormers with casements. 12-pane
sashes with louvred shutters. Central doorcase with cornice,
reeded pilasters with paterae and 6-panelled door, the top 2
panels glazed. Attached forecourt spear railings. Attached to
rear is an C18 stuccoed wing with hipped tiled roof and
12-pane sash in moulded architraves.
Internally reeded door surrounds, a staircase with wreathed
mahogany handrail and original chimneypieces and grates are
reported.
