Conduit, now refreshment kiosk. 1803 with later alterations.
Brick with pyramidal slate roof. Octagonal structure with
lower extension to corner of garden wall, which has canted
angle. Round-headed entrance with C20 glazed door to angle,
and probably early C20 canted timber oriel with leaded glazing
to front. Octagonal structure has one window with pegged
casement and perforated metal finial.
The conduit was first established c1140 in the north-west
corner of the close, and was replaced in 1803 by this
structure, which remained in use until 1969 and was converted
to a kiosk in the late 1980s.
