C17 or Cl8. Colour-washed limestone rubble, rendered on west side. Pitched
pantile roof, hipped at south end. Contemporary brick stacks without pots,
but with slates placed to shelter flue. 2 storeys. 3 ranges of windows, those
on 1st floor with stone mullions and hollow chamfer, ground floor ones modern.
Steep gable end with crowning tall stack on east side (a feature commonly found
in C17 country houses in Dorset).
All the listed buildings on the east side of Kings Road form a group with Fordington
House and the farm buildings in Athelstan Road.
