GV II

Town house, now flats. c.1830, altered. Red brick in Flemish
bond, with sandstone dressings and slate roof. Double-depth
single-fronted plan with back extension. Three storeys over
cellar, a 2-window facade, with elliptical-headed doorway up 2
steps to the right, doorcase of engaged Tuscan columns with
entablature and cornice; windows with raised sills and wedge
lintels, that at ground floor now flanked by round-headed
lights, and all with altered glazing. Plain brick parapet with
stone coping. Same scale as terrace to right, Nos 1 to 4
(q.v.), to which it is attached, but of different proportions.
