Pair of terrace houses. Early to mid C18, with some early C19
alteration. Darkened brick with rusticated stucco ground floors;
slate roofs. 4 storeys, basements and dormered mansards. Each front
3 windows wide. Semicircular arched recessed doorways to left and
off centre right, altered doors, plain fanlights. Recessed sash
windows, no glazing bars, under flat gauged brick arches to upper
floors. Main stone entablature across fronts over 2nd floor; No
20 also has a 1st floor string course and stone cornice below parapet.
No 19 has a c.1800 patterned cast iron balcony across 1st floor.
Cast iron area railings, No 19 with foliated spearhead finials, No
20 with flambé torch finials.
