House. Early/mid C19. Yellow brick with rendered plinth; hipped slate
roof 2 storeys and cellar. 3 first floor windows. Bays defined by brick
pilasters with recessed panels and rendered caps. Centre bay slightly
recessed; small blind bay to left has recessed panels. 6-panelled door with
side single-light windows has overlight with interlocking circles and fretted
surround. Pilasters and 2 pairs of Ionic columns on raised step support large
porch with plain entablature. Windows have sashes with glazing bars under
flat gauged brick arches. Recessed panels at first floor. Paired modillions
on overhanging eaves. Bow-fronted bay to right has 2 first-floor windows
above French window to verandah. Later C19 extension to rear. Owner dates
the building to 1823/4 from deeds.
