Formerly known as: Windmill Farm QUEENS ROAD.
House, formerly farmhouse. Late C18. Built of Isle of Wight
stone rubble with brick quoins, all now painted. Half-hipped
thatched roof with end brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys, 2
windows and one window space. 16-pane sashes, ground floor
ones with cambered head linings. Central doorcase with reeded
architrave and 6 fielded panelled door, the top 2 panels
glazed. Central section appears a mid C19 link building with
slate roof. The rear part of the building is of 1 1/2 storeys,
stone rubble rendered with thatched roof having end
chimneystack and eyebrow dormer with casement. Interior has
inglenook fireplace. Shown on a map of 1793.
