Shop and office. Late C18, with C19 and C20 alteration.
Colour-washed render incised to resemble ashlar on Market
Place fronts; dark brick, largely rebuilt, at rear; pantile
roof with coped gable. 3-storey 1-window gabled front .
Entrance in canted corner to left, in double shop front which
extends into left return. Shop front of reeded pilasters with
entablature and dentil cornice; half-glazed and panelled door
between 3-light canted bay windows. C19 twelve-pane sash on
first floor and similar C18 window on second floor, both with
painted keyed wedge lintels and stone sills. Left return:
3-storey 2-window front. All windows other than the shop
window are 12-pane sashes with painted keyed wedge lintels and
stone sills. Rear: exposed cross beam and truncated first
floor joists create jetty over rebuilt ground floor wall.
