House. Early C19, with C20 restoration and extension.
Orange-red brick in Flemish bond, with timber doorcase and
eaves band; stone steps; left and right brick stacks at base
of hipped slate roof with wrought-iron corner scrolls. End
stairhall plan. 3-storey 2-window front. To right, open
pedimented doorcase with sunk-panel pilasters and moulded
imposts; 4 steps up to recessed door of 6 raised-and-fielded
panels with patterned fanlight in panelled reveals. To left,
windows on ground and first floors are 16-pane sashes;
similar, narrow, window to right of first floor. Second floor
windows are squat, of 6 and 8 panes. All windows have painted
stone sills and flat arches of gauged brick. Rear: original
full-height canted bay to right extended on ground floor.
INTERIOR. Sales particulars of 1990 list the following: on
ground floor, fireplace with marble slips, and shutters to
landing and bedroom windows of first floor.
