ST 68 SE IRON ACTON LATTERIDGE

2/17 Commonwealth House

17.9.52 II

House. Late C17, extended and altered mid-C19. Rendered, stone dressings,
double roman tile roofs. Former 2 units, gable entry. 2 storeys and attic,
2 windows all cross windows with hollow-chamfered mullions and transoms, at left
a gabled porch with pointed arch under hoodmould with figurative stops; rear
windows as front. 2 storey, 3 window rear extension also has cross windows.
Interior: 2 four-centred arch fireplaces with mantelshelfs, overmantel at first
floor is intact and dated SS/1686, moulded beams and door frames.
