Farmhouse. Early C18 refenestrated in C19. Built of Isle of
Wight stone rubble with red brick dressings. Tiled roof with
lower courses of stone slates and end brick chimneystacks.
L-shaped building the front part of 2 storeys and attics in
gable end 3 windows, L-wing of 2 storeys 4 windows. Front has
C19 casements with cambered heads to ground floor windows.
Early C19 doorcase with columns. According to Kokeritz this
was one of the Domesday Manors though other authorities
disagree.
