GV II

House. 1735 graffiti date to rear. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate
roof; brick right end stack and left end stack to front of stone finished in
brick. T-plan with front and rear left wings. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window
range. Stone lintels over C19 plank door to right of C20 window in blocked
doorway. Flat stone arches over C20 three-light (right) and one-light (left)
casements; hipped dormer. Front left wing, of one storey, has C20 bow window and
flat stone arch over C20 door. Left side wall has keyed flat stone arches over
early C19 ten-pane sash and mid C18 six-pane sash with thick glazing bars.
Stair-turret to rear. Interior: chamfered beams and C18 two-panelled doors. Fine
mid C18 open-well staircase with turned balusters set on closed string.
