Cowhouse on south-east
side of farmyard
at Middle Hampt

GV II

Cowhouse. Mid-C19 with minor later alterations. Roughly coursed slate-stone
rubble with granite quoins; hipped slate roof. 2 levels. Ground floor has
roughly central plank door with windows to left and right, all with granite
lintels. Plank door on first floor directly above ground-floor doorway with
pigeon nesting holes and ledges to either side.
Interior: C19 cowstalls to ground floor. Collar truss roof in 7 bays. Included
for group value.
