Farmhouse, now 2 houses. C18, to right; Greystones House to left mostly early
C19. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled Welsh slate roof; end stacks of stone
finished in brick. L-plan with rear left wing. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window
range. Semi-circular arch over C19 six-panelled (4 glazed) door with fanlight.
Keyed stone lintels over 8-pane sashes. Raised storey band. Rear wing, which
includes former stable to rear, has timber lintels over early C19 plank doors,
2-light leaded casements and glazing-bar sashes; doveholes and plank shutters to
left over stable to rear. C18 range to right of front, with gabled stone slate
roof and ridge stack of stone finished in late C19 brick; 2-storey range with
keyed stone lintels over front windows, and C19 plank door and 2-light leaded
casements in right gable end. Interior not inspected but likely to be of
interest. Subsidiary features: walls, each approximately 27 metres long and over
3 metres high, attached to front and flank front garden; of coursed limestone
rubble with stone slate coping.
