GV II

Mill, now house. Late C16, with later extensions. Coursed limestone rubble;
gabled artificial stone slate roof. T-plan with front wing. 2 storeys. 2-window
range to left has timber lintels over 2 adjoining wide doorways, to
through-passage on left, with old plank doors set in chamfered heavy pegged
frames; timber lintels over C20 casements. Front wing to centre has timber
lintels over C20 door to left, C20 casements, and C18 two-light leaded casement.
Bay to right has timber lintel over plank door. Outbuilding, former granary, to
left has timber lintel over blocked double entry and doveholes with stone
perches under eaves. Interior: twin breast-shot wheels.
