Farm buildings. C18 and early C19. Picturesque courtyard group
of timberframed black weatherboarded farm buildings beside road
and to E of farmhouse. N range has 2 3-bay barns with steeply
pitched roofs now slated. W barn has projecting central S porch
on high brick sill with small winnowing door. Both barns are C18
structures re-roofed in early C19. E range has steep red tiled
roof stable at N and higher 2 bay early C19 building S of it with
low pitched slate roofed E outshut. 3 bay early C19 implement
shed with curved braces to open arcade on W, at NE corner of E
barn. S range backing onto road has 5 bay early C19 cattle
shelter with steeper slate roof and loose box at W end.
Picturesque group with farmhouse.
