Barn and adjoining implement shed. C17, re-roofed in C19. Tall
5-bay timber frame, large weatherboarded barn with projecting
central gabled porch with double doors on S end similar doors
opposite on N. Steep half-hipped roof now slated. Heavy bay
posts with jowled heads and mid-height rails butt-jointed in
line. Long curved braces, side lap jointed to straight tie
beams. Inclined queen-strut collar trusses and single clasped
purlin in each slope. Straight tension bracing in walls. C19 2-
bay implement shed adjoining to E. Timber frame weatherboarded
with slate roof and open to N with central post. Picturesque
group with house.
