Printing works, now shop. Early C19, extended c1845; C20
alterations. Painted brick, and pantile roof, hipped over
corner bay, with brick ridge stacks; stone gable copings and
vestigial kneelers to earlier part. L-shaped on plan, on
corner site. 3-storey 4-bay front to Yorkersgate; 2-storey
3-window front to Railway Street; linked by 2-storey 1-window
canted corner bay. Ground floor occupied by C20 plate-glass
shop windows. Right end of Railway Street front has door of 6
grooved raised-and-fielded panels with overlight, to left of
12-pane sash. Yorkersgate front has 16-pane first-floor sashes
beneath painted flat arches of gauged brick; unequal 9-pane
sashes on second floor. Extension pilastered on upper floor.
One bay is blind, and remaining bays have sash windows,
4-paned over door, and 12-paned elsewhere. All Railway Street
openings have square hoodmoulds. Continuous sillband, painted
beneath windows. Eaves cornice on prominent shaped brackets.
