TG 2109 NE ST. BARTHOLOMEW'S CLOSE, 6/720 HEIGHAM. 26.2.54 Remains of Church of St. Bartholomew. (Formerly listed under Heigham Street) - II Tower of former Parish Church. C15. Flint rubble with stone dressings and flushwork parapet. Unbutressed tower has 2-light perpendicular west window and 4 traceried sound holes. Iron strapping. 4 gargoyles at corner of stringcourse with lettering (?) and rosettes below crenellated parapet with 4 castellated pinnacles. Blocked rendered tower arch and fragments of west nave and north aisle walls.
