Farmhouse now private house. Circa early C19. Stone rubble with granite quoins,
slate-hung on front elevation. Rag slate roof with gable ends and brick end stacks.
Double depth plan with 2 rooms on front, the larger right-hand room probably the
kitchen. Central cross passage with dog-leg stair to rear flanked by 2 small
probably unheated service rooms.
2 storeys almost symmetrical 3-window front. Ground floor with entrance to left of
centre with C19 panelled and probably late C19 timber porch. Circa early C19
20-pane hornless sash to left and 20-pane horned sash to right. First floor with 3
circa mid C19 16-pane horned sashes. Rear elevation relatively unaltered with timber
lintels to openings, 24-pane stair window and C20 outshut extension.
Interior Partitions to cross passage retained. Left-hand room with reused C19
chimney piece. Partition dividing front room and dairy to rear on left removed.
Right-hand front room, probably kitchen with large fireplace and re-worked C19
chimney piece. Softwood dog-leg stair with closed string and stick balusters.
House remains relatively unaltered on all four elevations.
