Pair of grand terraced houses. Mid C19. Yellow brick, stone dressings. Low
pitched slate roof. Italianate style. 4 storeys, attic and basement. Each
house 3 windows wide. Rustication to ground floor, and rusticated stone quoins.
Canted bay window to centre of each house rising through ground and first
floors. Paired entrances in Doric porches with granite columns. Panelled
doors. Balconies to first floor and order of Ionic pilasters flanking windows.
Pediments to second floor centre windows, and architraves to second and third
floors. Attic storey incorporated into frieze. Rich cornice. Cast iron
balustrade to crown of roof. Area balustrade. Unmutilated condition. Interiors
not inspected.
