Formerly Strethall Hall. C17 timber-framed and plastered building on an
L-shaped plan, with C18-C19 red brick additions at the north end and in
the angle. The ground storey of the east front is faced in red brick.
The main block is one storey and attics, with a gable at the south end of
the east front which is jettied on the upper storey. The C18-C19 north
additions are 2 storeyed. Casement windows. Roofs tiled, with one gabled
dormer on the east front and an original chimney stack with 3 shafts. There
is also an external stack at the south end. (RCHM 2).
