C18 building which, until the mid C19, was an inn. Two storeys. Four windows.
Tiled roof. Pear Tree Cottage is red brick. Sash windows with glazing bars
intact. Doorway with flat hood over and door of 6 fielded panels. The Post
Office has an early C19 shop window with glazing bars intact and one gabled
dormer. The Little Cottage is weatherboarded with horizontally sliding sash
windows.
