Circa 1840 small villa on corner site with Melville Street. Two storeys
stucco faced. Low pitch hipped slate roof with shallow eaves cornice.
Entrance front to Monkton Street: two windows and one window to later
wing over shop to South. Windows are recessed, sash, glazing bars
intact, block sills. Central recessed panelled and glazed door with
rectangular fanlight, plain wood doorcase. Wooden porch with free
standing square section columns and entablature. Melville Street
front: three windows, two in bow through both storeys to East, recessed sash,
glazing bars intact, block sills. One original French window with
bottom panels and marginal glazing bars to ground floor of bow.
