Large house in terrace. Late C17. Brick, pantile roof with lowest
2 eaves courses in Cotswold stone slate, brick end stacks. Single
front range with large rear extension with some exposed timber
framing on 1st floor. 2 storeys. 4 windows, 3 wood mullion and
transoms under segmental brick arches to left, and one twin
casement to right, all leaded. Ground floor previously had four
12-pane sashes with moulded wood architraves under segmental brick
arches, that to left of door now half blocked and 4 panes wide (8
panes total). Door in centre with large flat wooden hood with
sprocketed "eaves" on scrolled brackets, sloping. Rectangular
fanlight with one wood mullion and 8 small leaded panes each side,
and door of 8 long panels, cut off by line of pavement at base,
with moulded wood architrave. Empty at time of survey (November
1984) and interior inaccessible but internal shutters, main beams
etc remaining in rooms to front.
