Lodge, gates, gatepiers and entrance quadrants. 1869 by Haywood (Lodge) and c.1902
by Sir Edwin Lutyens for mark Fenwick (gates etc). The Lodge in rubble with ashlar
quoins and dressings and Cotswold stone roofs with coped verges. Gabled L-plan
in Cotswold style. 1½ storeys; mullion windows with drips. Gabled porch with pointed
doorway; angled bay with hipped roof to south gable; rainwater head dated 1869.
Ashlar gate piers with moulded base and capping, pineapple variant finials, excellent
cast and wrought iron gates with panelled rails and uprights and scroll work over-
throw. Flanking quadrant walls in snecked rubble, about 8 foot high.
