Union Chapel. Dated 1835 on front pediment. Ashlar on plinth,
slate roof with large pediment. Nearly square, 2 storeys. Two long
4-centred arched windows each with 2 lights. Plat band at base of
pediment and decorative circular iron grille recessed into circular
opening in pediment. Central gabled stone porch with slate roof,
side piers with recessed trefoil panels and moulded cornice, and 4-
centred archway. Double doors with 6 fielded panels, large arched
fanlight with Gothic interlocking tracery. Plain round railings
across front, meeting as gates within porch. Words "UNION CHAPEL
1835" in raised stone in centre below grille.
Interior not inspected. Included primarily for group value.
