Lodge and gatepiers at entrance to half-mile drive. C1903 Architect E Guy
Dawber. Rubble with ashlar quoins and Cotswold stone roof with coped verges
and cut finials. Asymmetrical plan, roughly central chimney. 1½ storeys,
gabled to sash front, 1 range of mullion windows of 2 and 3 lights with drips to
east, south and west; south gable swept down over Tudor arch doorway - drip
common with window. Tall ashlar gatepiers with moulded cornices and ball-finials
framing entrance to drive. Architectural Review:Vol 19, Jan 1906.
