Farmhouse. Mid C17 with early/mid C18 wing to left forming L-shape.
Rubble stone faced in roughcast, main range with concrete tile
roof, wing with hipped slate roof and stone slate at the back,
rendered stacks with large decorative flues. Older range of 2
storeys and attic with 2 large front gables. Scattered
fenestration, mainly small 2,3 and 4-light wood mullion casements
on left side, large wood mullion and transoms on right side.
Central doorcase with flat wooden hood on brackets and 6-panel door
of fielded panels. Small projecting gable at rear and additional
2-storey later wing on left. C18 wing to left of 2 storeys with
parapet wall, moulded stone cornice, stone platband and alternating
chamfered quoins. Two windows, 12-pane sashes with plain stone
architraves and keystone linked either to platband or cornice.
Ground floor window to right has been lengthened to allow for
wooden doors at base giving access outside. Some leading in
windows to rear and side of main range.
